CAGNO Website Redesign

  A volunteer has help us complete a multi-week project of moving CAGNO to a new web host and then redesigning the site.  The redesign now allows us to update key sections of the web site in a more timely manner as well as adding new features that we will be able to use in the future. One added benefit of all of this work will allow us to have an individual website for our signature fund-raising event; The Tom Sawyer River Run Race.  More to follow as we begin the task of deciding of a design for the new site Tom Sawyer site.

18th Annual Tom Sawyer Mississippi River Run for Cancer held August 19th, 2011.  The race began at 310 Andrew Higgins Ave, New Orleans in the Warehouse district.   The runner proceeded through a scenic 2 mile journey through the downtown Warehouse District. finishin at Generations Hall, 310 Andrew Higgins Avenue.   View 2011 race results   View total race results

Local Bike Ride Benefits CAGNO

The third annual Tour De Lis bike ride, designed to raise funds for cancer survivors, was held on April 18th, 2009. The 2009 event received enormous support from the community, and CAGNO was presented with a check for $90,000 to support our programs. We congratulate the volunteers responsible for the Tour de Lis, and want everyone involved to know that the Tour de Lis will make possible the many services CAGNO offers to the public. To all the volunteers, riders, sponsors, vendors and donors involved, please accept our heartfelt thanks.   Please consider joining us for the 2010 Tour de Lis.
